Technical Content Writer

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality technical blogs, white papers, case studies, and how-to guides for a non-technical audience.
  • Develop installation guides, FAQs, and other technical content.
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and engineers to gather information and clarify technical concepts
  • Translate complex technical jargon into accessible, user-friendly language while maintaining technical accuracy.
  • Create content that is optimized for search engines and designed to drive traffic to the company website.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure consistency, clarity, and quality.
  • Ensure all documentation is consistent with the company’s style and branding guidelines.
  • Use content management systems (CMS) to organize and publish documents and articles.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in technical writing, preferably within the IT or software development industry.
  • Familiarity with software development, IT services, cloud technologies, SaaS, APIs, or other relevant technical fields.
  • Proficiency with documentation tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Docs, CMS systems
  • Excellent command of the English language with a strong attention to detail, grammar, and tone.
  • Ability to understand and research complex technical topics quickly and communicate them effectively.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, and online content strategies.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Experience in writing about emerging technologies is an added advantage.
  • Familiar with content creation, specific to improving user experience.

Recruitment Process

HR Interview

First, our HR Team will assess your qualifications & soft skills for the profile. You might get questioned about your education history, previous work experience & reason for wanting to change jobs.

Personal Interview

Next, a hiring manager or technical expert from the applied field will test and gauge your technical skills, concepts, problem-solving abilities, and personality fit per our working culture.

Practical Round

Next, you will be given a practical task to evaluate your theoretical and practical skills, problem-solving approach, and ability to work under pressure. This can be held online or in person.

Final Discussion

Finally, the last round of interviews will be with the senior team/hiring manager. Your overall performance, cultural fit, salary expectations & onboarding needs will be discussed here.
